Simple Challenge 15

  1. Cedric grinned. Awhile ago he had gotten into a debate with another wizard about transformations. When one lives for centuries, one changes his form every so often just to avoid boredom. A mutual acquaintance of theirs had taken it too far. He became on owl and apparently became so wrapped up in owl concerns that he wandered away from his former human existence. Cedric scoffed at this, calling him a weak bird brain. The other wizard, who had been a closer friend to the now owl, defended the owl. He commented that Cedric had never gone nearly so far with his own transformations, and likely this was because deep down he feared getting lost to the temptations of the flesh. Cedric swore this wasn’t so, though now there was a slight waiver in his voice. “Very well then,” said the wizard, “how about a wager. I will choose a form for you and you must hold it for one week. If you give up or get lost in your new self then I win.” Cedric agreed.

Cedric wasn’t grinning because he had won the bet, far from it. Rather she grinned because she had a put a little potion in the other wizards coffee. Soon she’d have a new member on the beach volleyball team.

  2. "Beware that when fighting witches, you yourself do not become..."

"Hm hm hm hehehe HA HA HA HA HA"
you laugh aloud like a maniac. And why not? You've just won the most epic battle of your life: You've just fought and beaten and killed the dreaded Magen Witch, the Terror of the Westlands.

Standing tall, victorious, and your revenge now complete. You sigh relieved.
But one final task must be done.

You look at the white owl beside you. This... was your friend, Joel.

Joel incidentally became a target of the Magen Witch's wrath, and he fell to her curse.
Your best friend and trusted sword arm Joel was no more, transformed into somekind of magical pet owl.
That was the last straw that led you, in a murderous rage, to storm this hated Witch' tower.

Now that you have destroyed the monster, her Tower and the vast libraries contained within are now yours to plunder.
But you still have one thing in mind.

"I must find the spell that transformed Joel in first place, I must figure out a way to reverse the curse." you say to yourself as you and Joel the owl enter the Magen Witch's study and closed the door behind you.

    ...

It's been a few weeks now.

And all you do since that time is obsessively going through the so many spell books and grimoires.
You even wear the Magen Witch's hat almost all the time now, you think that this 'thinking cap' makes your head clearer and you can concentrate better.

"Hehehehe... Soon Joel... soon..." you mutter to yourself as you rest on the couch, smiling to yourself as you come into understanding the workings of the dark magic.

You don't even seem to care that your body (and your mind) has changed so much since then.
This long pink hair, golden eyes, a perky girl's body, cute face and a lusty voice, clad in a cloak. Those curiously mad eyes.

It's almost like the Magen Witch never died.
But plus Joel the Owl now, who remains your faithful companion, despite knowing full well that his curse too will never be broken.
